Residents of Inglewood Close in Fleetwood continue to be baffled by the inaction of Lancashire County Council to resurface their road.

In 2019 local residents petitioned together to get something done, but this fell on deaf ears. Sadly, as did my own calls at that time. But I’m not giving up. I’ve seen first hand the awful condition the road is in, it’s like something from a third world country.

Since 2019, the road has only gotten worse. It’s a small cul-de-sac with a turning point, regularly used by refuse trucks, grocery and delivery vans, and most recently, Cadent gas engineers have been digging up the pavement with heavy machinery for at least a week!

I’ve written once again to the Lancashire County Council Highways Department to ask that Inglewood Close finally gets resurfaced, and be included as part of their Programme of Works.
