Christmas Card Competition
Christmas Card Competition

Teddy has been with me to my advice surgery this morning but he would much prefer to be in his forever home with the winner of my children’s drawing competition for my Christmas card design.

Are you aged between 5 and 10 and would you like your artwork displayed on my Christmas e-cards?

I’m looking for a lovely colourful Christmas picture drawn, painted, coloured or crayoned by one of my littlest constituents. The subject is up to you but it would be great if it included somewhere identifiable in my Lancaster and Fleetwood constituency – like a lighthouse in Fleetwood or the castle in Lancaster or the ferry in Knott End.

Anyone who knows me, knows how much I care about our planet and the environment – so this year instead of traditional Christmas cards I’ll be sending e-cards to hundreds of people I need to thank and think of as Christmas approaches – from the Queen, to other MPs, the leaders of councils, charities, businesses, education and so much more!

So if you’d like your picture to feature on my e-card then get designing now – and there’s a prize of a House of Commons teddy for the winning artist!

Pictures need to be emailed to cat.smith.mp@parliament.uk by November 30 – if you don’t have a scanner, take a picture of your creation with a smart phone and send it to me that way.
