Constituents in Preesall have expressed concerns over road safety on the Burned House Lane junction following a collision in November when a driver failed to negotiate a bend and crashed into a barn. I’m still waiting to hear back from Lancashire County Council regarding measures they may take to improve safety. The police however have got back to me having sent their traffic management officer out to look at the junction. They agree a lower speed limit would help to reduce collisions.
