Cat Smith Working for Lancaster and Fleetwood
I had the pleasure on Friday of visiting a new art exhibition, Inside Out, on the top floor of the old Fleetwood Hospital – which is now being turned into a community hub.
If you get the chance go and have a look- its brilliant! We really have some incredibly talented creatives in Fleetwood, from photographers and painters to the creator of the most amazing rocking horses – not to mention the fantastic seaside themed room where crochet is the name of the game.
Inside Out is the brainchild of Fleetwood based artist Gillian Wood. The project brings together the often unseen and underrepresented creative talents and skills of the people of Fleetwood and surrounding areas.
It’s on until 18 July and is open Tuesday 10-4, Thursday 1-7 and Saturday 10-4. Entry is through the atrium entrance to the side of the building. (Unfortunately, this is a construction site with steps so is not fully accessible).
