Cat Smith Working for Lancaster and Wyre

Following outrage from residents over a number of years and a number of failed requests to get their road resurfaced, last month I demanded action on behalf of residents of Inglewood Close, who have been living with their dire road conditions for years.
Lancashire County Council have now responded to my requests they inspect and resurface the road.
Whilst unfortunately they said no to a resurfacing – despite receiving extra funds from the Government for this very reason – they have inspected the road and will be making surface repairs to eleven potholes.
The fact that 11 potholes need attention on such a small road should be evidence enough for a full resurfacing, and residents should rest assured I will keep pressing the County Council to make sure that Inglewood Close is included in the next financial year’s scheme for a full resurfacing.
