Cat get Co-Op and Royal Mail together
Cat get Co-Op and Royal Mail together

As you may know, for months now I’ve been trying to get the postbox at Quernmore Road fixed.

It’s been an exhausting journey, asking questions in Parliament, getting a Government Minister involved in the case, all in the stubborn refusal of Royal Mail to work productively with us.

In June I asked Royal Mail to engage with the Co-Op store, to see if this would be an ideally placed venue for a replacement postbox. Along with driving more traffic and custom to the shop itself, I think this could offer an excellent solution which benefits
the whole community and the Co-Op.

I’ve written to the Chief Executive of the Co-Op today, to ask that she and the store manager work with Royal Mail to see if a postbox can be placed in their store.

Having been resident in this area I can tell you first hand what an excellent and cohesive community this is, with a fantastic neighbourly feel and caring people who will always help each other out.

Far too many people are being let down by Royal Mail here, so let’s get this fixed once and for all!
