This is ridiculous. Just last month I reported a second pothole on Bowerham roundabout – having just had one patched up a week earlier. Now, there’s a third.

I’ve reported this to Lancashire County Council using the Love Clean Streets app, as well as requesting that the whole roundabout gets resurfaced because it’s a nightmare and barely useable.

It’s ridiculous that LCC highways engineers now will have to come to the same spot for a third time to plaster over a hole that will just erode and become an issue again a few months down the line.

We desperately need an end to this false economy of “splash and dash” pothole repair – it’s just not working.
