What a privilege to be invited to celebrate the 350th year of teaching at Cawthorne’s Endowed Primary & Nursery School in Abbeystead. Such amazing history right on our doorstep, at a fantastic school with excellent indoor and outdoor learning spaces!

I was so sad to miss the children when they came to Parliament last month due to the General Election, but it was fantastic to speak with them today about our democracy and how we make changes to our laws – including one young person who sees themselves as a future Prime Minister!
