Funding for the future of the Knott-End Ferry is uncertain. Understandably, a number of you have been in touch about this to share the same concerns I have about securing this service, which has been a vital transport link in the area for 183 years!

One of our neighbouring MPs, Lorraine Beavers for Blackpool North and Fleetwood, has also been hearing concerns from constituents about this, and so we have written a joint letter which you can read below to Lancashire County Council.

We are demanding that they share what plans they have for the service and that they strongly consider making a commitment to financially supporting the ferry alongside Wyre Council!
