Cat Smith Working for Lancaster and Wyre
The Labour Government will soon be writing to all local authorities asking them for locations with housing developments which are ‘stuck’ or have remained unfinished for some time. This is to enable the Government to release funding to aid with the completion of these developments.
In Lancaster and Wyre, I have been supporting constituents with issues caused by developers who have gone bankrupt or have passed the sites onto different owners. It is not acceptable for so many people to be left in limbo.
This is why I have written to the Chief Executive of Lancaster City Council asking them to, in response to the Government, include St. Michael’s View in Cockerham and Galloway’s Reach in Galgate in their response to the call for sites.
