It was an absolute pleasure to visit Grosvenor Park Primary School last week for the very first time! The school recently became part of my constituency following the General Election in the summer.

From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by both the staff and the students. It was immediately clear that this is a school full of enthusiasm and a strong sense of community. I was incredibly impressed by the thoughtful questions posed by the children about my role as a Member of Parliament and the various responsibilities that come with serving our local area.

One of the highlights of my visit was meeting with the school parliament. Each class has two representatives, which is a brilliant way to encourage leadership and civic engagement from a young age. It’s fantastic to see such active participation in school governance, and I’m confident that many of these young leaders will go on to make significant contributions to our community in the future.

I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Mr. Fern and all the staff for their warm welcome. The dedication of the teachers at Grosvenor Park Primary School is evident in the politeness, intelligence, and confidence of the students. I look forward to visiting again!
