Cat Smith Working for Lancaster and Wyre

Lancashire County Council have announced plans to remove the discounted £1 fare currently available for holders of the Disabled Person’s NoWcard when travelling before 09:30.
I am calling on the County Council to rethink these plans. People with disabilities are more likely to be living in poverty than non-disabled people, with some 57% of disabled people telling the charity Scope that their income does not cover their bills.
To make your views heard, please respond to the County Council’s consultation by 18 November: https://online1.snapsurveys.com/interview/5d962249-3fe0-48f7-8d31-e640eb813d67
