Last month I demanded action on behalf of residents of the Larkholme and Chatsworth areas of Fleetwood, who have been having to put up with dire road conditions for years.

I asked them to look at the following roads:

• Chatsworth Avenue
• Hodder Avenue
• Ennerdale Avenue
• Ullswater Avenue
• Northway
• Cartmel Avenue
• Inglewood Close
• Larkholme Parade (approach to Broadway junction)

Lancashire County Council have now responded to my requests they inspect and resurface the roads. Whilst unfortunately they said no to a resurfacing – despite receiving extra funds from the Government for this very reason – they have so far inspected Inglewood Close and Larkholme Parade, and will be making surface repairs to:

• 11 potholes on Inglewood Close
• 13 potholes on Larkholme Parade

I will be asking LCC to look at the rest of the roads as I am certain there is so much more that needs to be done in this area.
