Earlier this month, Lorraine Beavers MP for Blackpool North & Fleetwood and I wrote to Lancashire County Council demanding reassurance about the future of the Knott-End Ferry after concerns were raised surrounding funding.
The response, which you can read below, outlines that Lancashire County Council and Wyre Council have a contract with the current operator, Wyre Marine which runs until 2026.
They suggest that talks are ongoing to ensure the longevity of the service and this is something I will continue to raise and fight for!
