Being a big fan of cake I really was delighted to go along to the North Euston Hotel in Fleetwood for  The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning – Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event for people facing cancer.

There was an amazing array of cake on offer some of which made its way back to the office for my hard working team!

Every year Macmillan asks people all over the UK to host their own Coffee Mornings and donations on the day are given to the charity. Last year alone they raised over £27 million and I hope 2018 will be another successful year.

Macmillan understands how cancer can affect people’s whole lives – health, money, family, job; everything. And, after more than 100 years of caring, they understand that the most important thing is to treat people as individuals, not patients.

So they take the time to understand the support people need to live their lives as fully as they can.
