As you know, I wrote to United Utilities (UU) regarding the flash flooding in Lancaster earlier on in the summer.

United Utilities says it is doing everything it can to minimise the risk of flooding and highlights the areas that UU, the local Highways Authority, Lancashire County Council, landowners and the Environment Agency have responsibility for.

As part of their response (reproduced in full above) the company has revealed it will be developing a Drainage Wastewater Management Plan in respect of the new proposed housing developments.
