Cat appeals to kids to design Christmas card
Cat appeals to kids to design Christmas card

Cat is calling on all 5-10 year olds in her constituency to give her a hand in producing her Christmas e-cards.

She’s looking for a lovely colourful Christmas picture drawn, painted, coloured or crayoned by one of her littlest constituents. The subject is up to the artists themselves but it would be great if it included somewhere identifiable in the Lancaster and Fleetwood constituency – like a lighthouse in Fleetwood or the castle in Lancaster or the ferry in Knott End.

“Anyone who knows me, knows how much I care about our planet and the environment,” explained Cat. “So this year instead of traditional Christmas cards I’ll be sending e-cards to the hundreds of people I need to thank and think of as Christmas approaches – from the Queen, to other MP’s, the leaders of councils, charities, businesses, education and so much more!”

So if you’d like your picture to feature on Cat’s e-card then get designing now – and there’s a prize of a House of Commons teddy for the winning artist!

Pictures need to be emailed to cat.smith.mp@parliament.uk by November 30  – if you don’t have a scanner, take a picture of your creation with a smart phone and send it to her that way. She can’t wait to see your entries!!
