I was pleased to get together with some constituents from Forton this week in one of my regular ‘Chat With Cat’ meet-ups.

As you know, I regularly hold advice surgeries when I have one-to-one meetings with constituents who need my help. Many of the problems are to do with poor mental health provision, the removal of disability benefits, homelessness and housing, immigration, debt, addiction and the lack of Special Educational Needs services.

In addition to these I also hold more informal get togethers when constituents can see me simply for a chat and a brew. You can still raise concerns with me which I’ll follow up or you can just come along for a natter.

During the summer I’ll be dropping in to Westview Community Centre on August 20^th at 10.30 till 12 noon and I’ll be at Milton Street Community Centre August 27 from 2pm to 4pm and I’ll look forward to seeing you there. I’ll remind everyone again nearer the time!
