Cat Smith Working for Lancaster and Fleetwood
What an amazing job the children from Carter’s Charity Primary School in Preesall have done transforming a patch of grass into a mini allotment!
The pupils have built eight raised beds to grow all sorts of goodies from peas and carrots to radishes and strawberries.
A superb team of eco-warriors are now caring for the growing veggies – and keep an eye out because when they’ve grown the school-children will be selling their produce to raise money to buy more seeds. What a brilliant project! Congratulations to Mr Jones and all the green fingered youngsters who have put so much time and effort into creating their veg patches.
