On Friday I was once again out and about in Fleetwood chatting to residents about the issues that are bothering them – and top of the agenda was the removal of the breast screening unit.

Myself, local Labour councillors and Dr Mark Spencer, Fleetwood’s public health lead,  are determined to keep up the pressure on the NHS to return this vital life saving piece of kit and we’ve launched an online petition.
