Thank you to those of you that dropped-in to my Chat with Cat Session at the Youth Centre. Understandably, the main topic of discussion was the Preesall Quarry proposals and the many justified concerns that have emerged ranging from the environmental impact to the detrimental strain it could have on the existing local infrastructure.

It is always my first priority to listen directly to my constituents, that’s why it was great to meet with some of you in person to hear your concerns first-hand and discuss how we, as a community, are going tackle this issue!

As I have said previously, I share all of your concerns on this and will support the community every step of the way to stop this quarry project going ahead.
