The Student Council at Christ Church CE Primary School told me all about their exciting trip down to London last week. They toured Parliament and did workshops where they learnt about topics like the women’s suffrage movement.

They had so much to tell me about democracy and had some brilliant questions about life as an MP, voting processes and the possibility of lowering voting age. They are a very impressive bunch and a testament to their fantastic teachers that are making sure their students have an understanding of democratic processes!

The Student Council at Christ Church understand that their voice matters and I’m excited to see what campaigns they take on this year!
