Cat Smith Working for Lancaster and Wyre
This is a shout out to anyone who wishes to be considered for the Speaker’s ‘Democracy For All’ Small Grant Scheme!
The Grants Scheme is funded by the Speaker’s Art Fund to contribute to delivering local arts and educational projects with a focus on increasing the understanding of Parliamentary democracy across the UK.
The Art Fund isn’t funded through the taxpayer but through income from the sales of Christmas cards and tours of the Speaker’s House. This initiative will offer an opportunity to bid for £500 to deliver your project. The first round of applications is open until the 12th of January 2024. I would suggest that you get in touch with me no later than the 31st of December to get applications in order!
