Fantastic to be in Hambleton today for my casework surgery, speaking with local residents about their personal and community issues. Being local and helping people to get things fixed is one of the most rewarding parts of being an MP.

We touched upon a whole range of topics including:

  • Antisocial behaviour
  • DWP application delays
  • Council tax rates
  • Flooding and drainage
  • Potholes
  • Park home and holiday site regulation
  • Rural public transport
  • Access to healthcare
My surgery appointments tend to book up very quickly, but I am hoping to hold surgeries across the whole area.
If you have an issue which you think I could help with, please get in touch with me by email at cat.smith.mp@parliament.uk, call my office on 01524 566551, or write to me at 47 Scotforth Road, Lancaster LA1 4SA.
