This morning, I joined the Rapid Relief Team UK to mark A&E Appreciation Week at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary. The RRT were handing out cakes, coffee, and tea to our hardworking doctors, nurses, and paramedics who rarely have time for a break!
It was fantastic to see this support in action and to speak with medical professionals on the frontline of our NHS.
Thank you to the Rapid Relief Team volunteers for giving up your time, and to all the incredible NHS staff in Lancaster and across the country for your compassion, dedication, and service to our communities!
