Cat visits Lancaster Infirmary to see new solar panels
Great to visit the Royal Lancaster Infirmary today to see their new solar panel project in action.
Thanks to almost £3 million of funding from the Labour Government through Great British Energy, UHMBT is installing solar panels across our local hospitals.
This will cut energy costs by an estimated £147,000 a year, bringing down NHS energy bills and delivering better value for taxpayers.
Investing in clean, renewable energy across the NHS is vital for tackling the climate crisis and means more money can go where it really matters – patient care!
